5-YEAR-OLD CLASS - MUEL CERAMIC FACTORY

On Thursday we went to Muel Pottery factory where we became potters for a little while and made some nice clay objects. We were at two different craft workshops: the wheel, on which we made pots and bowls and the craft surface where we made an owl!

El jueves fuimos a la fábrica de cerámica de Muel donde nos convertimos en alfareros durante un rato e hicimos algunos objetos muy chulos. Estuvimos en 2 talleres diferentes: el torno, ¡donde hicimos vasijas y cuencos y en la mesa de trabajo donde hicimos un búho!

First, we were shown the factory around and were told how everything works!

¡Primero nos enseñaron toda la fábrica y cómo funciona todo!

Once we knew more or less everything, it was time to get our hands dirty!

Y una vez que ya más o menos sabíamos todo, ¡era la hora de ensuciarse las manos!

4-YEAR-OLD CLASS - POTTERY AT MUEL

Today we went on a day trip to the pottery factory in Muel. We all became potters for a little while and made some nice clay objects. The people at the factory were very kind; they explained what type of ceramic they usually make and helped us with our work!

Hoy hemos ido de excursión a la fábrica de cerámica de Muel. Por un momento nos hemos convertido en alfareros y hemos hecho unos objectos de barro muy chulos. ¡La gente de la fábrica ha sido muy amable; nos ha explicado qué tipo de cerámica suelen fabricar allí y nos ha ayudado mucho con nuestro trabajo!

Once we'd finished making our pottery objects, we had lunch and played in the park!
