ROSALEROS GOT TALENT - TECHNOLOGY !!

Even though Technology has been somewhat present in the classroom all year round, the Technology talent has brought us different and new uses of gadgets such as Ozobots or virtual instruments on the IWB as well as the already known BeeBot, Escornabots or Augmented Reality.

Aunque la tecnología ha estado presente de alguna forma a lo largo del curso, el talento de la tecnología nos ha traído diferentes y nuevos usos de artilugios como Ozobots o instrumentos virtuales en la PDI, así como los ya conocidos BeeBot, Escornabots o Realidad Virtual.

ROSALEROS GOT TALENT - GASTRONOMY !!

For the gastronomy talent we carried out various workshops on different days. Here is what we did:
Para el talento de la gastronomía hicimos varios talleres en distintos días. Esto es lo que hicimos:

Senses workshop - Taller sensorial
One of the workshops we carried out during the Gastronomy talent was the 5-sense workshop where we had to use our ability to find out what food we had in front of us since we could not see it!
Uno de los talleres que hicimos durante el talento de la gastronomía fue conocer los 5 sentidos donde teníamos que usar nuestra habilidad para descubrir qué alimentos teníamos delante nuestra, ya que no los podíamos ver.

Solar cooker - Cocina solar
One day we were so lucky as to have the visit of some scientists who showed us how to cook using solar energy.
Un día tuvimos la suerte de tener la visita de algunos científicos que nos enseñaron como cocinar utilizando energía solar.

Master chef
The ultimate workshop was the one we did in the playground. This one was a challenge since the judges would determine if the food that we prepared in the classroom was worth a Michelin star!
El taller definitivo fue el que hicimos en el patio. Fue un reto ya que había un jurado que juzgaría si la comida que habíamos preparado dentro de clase era merecedora de una estrella Michelín.

ROSALEROS GOT TALENT - FASHION WEEK !!

As you know, quite a few days ago we recovered the Fashion talent and to conclude it we carried out the "Rosales Fashion Week" which some of you could watch live. All the kids were involved and engaged in and had an unforgettable time!

Como sabéis hace ya unos cuantos días terminamos el reto de la moda y para ello lo culminamos con la "Rosales Fashion Week" que muchos de vosotros pudisteis seguir en directo. Todos los niños estuvieron involucrados y dedicados al desfile y pasaron un momento inolvidable!

ROSALEROS GOT TALENT - FASHION !!

As you know, we've been working on the fashion talent for a few days now and have done some workshops. The children are really engaged in and motivated about becoming fashion designers and tailors as well as learning some other skills!
Como sabéis, llevamos ya unos días con el talento de la moda y hemos hecho algunos talleres. Los niños están muy motivados y metidos en el papel de ser diseñadores de moda y sastres a la vez que aprenden distintas destrezas!

Firstly, we designed our own necklace and bow tie. We used tablets to make ourselves look nice and glamorous and dressed some dummies up on the Interactive White Board!
Lo primero que hicimos fue crear nuestro propio collar y pajarita. También usamos tablets para hacer que pareciésemos glamurosos y atractivos; también vestimos a maniquíes en la pizarra digital.

For another workshop we had to dress ourselves up however we liked and then pose for a catwalk picture! Glam!!

En otro taller tuvimos que vestirnos como quisiésemos para posar en una pasarela! Fascinante!

On a different day we painted our necklace in a colourful way...

Otro día pintamos el collar de una forma muy colorida...

...we experienced the world of sewing...

...experimentamos con el mundo de la costura...

...and designed our own pattern of clothing!

... y diseñamos nuestro propio patrón de ropa!

Another workshop which we really enjoyed was painting our t-shirt which we'd previously brought to the classroom. We had to be creative and I think they all look fab!

Otro taller el cual disfrutamos mucho fue pintar la camiseta blanca que habíamos llevado a clase. ¡Teníamos que ser creativos y creo que todas salieron genial!

We also learnt how to be a mannequin and how to dress it up! 

¡También aprendimos a ser un maniquí y como vestirlo!

ROSALEROS GOT TALENT - MUSIC (FINAL ACT)

Following the music workshop we did about the carnival of the animals, we crafted some musical instruments in our classrooms in order to perform a final act to end the music talent.
With the Mozart Allegro symphony piece in the background, we played each instrument when asked to do so by our teachers, who were our conductors!
Después de hacer el taller de música sobre el carnaval de los animales, nos fabricamos unos instrumentos en el aula para hacer una actuación final y terminar con el talento de la música.
Con la "Pequeña Serenata Nocturna" de Mozart en el fondo, tocamos cada instrumento cuando nos lo pidieron nuestros profes, que hicieron de directores de orquesta!

ROSALEROS GOT TALENT - MUSIC (CARNIVAL OF THE ANIMALS)

As you know, we've been working on the music talent for a while now and a few days ago we carried out a nice and appealing inter level workshop for the kids. In this workshop they had to perform the humorous musical "The carnival of the animals" composed by Camille Saint-Saëns.
First of all, we crafted a headband with the animals that appear in the musical, practised the dance of our animal and later we all went to the hall to perform the dance.

Como sabéis, hemos estado trabajando en el talento de la música durante un tiempo y hace unos días llevamos a cabo un taller internivelar muy chulo y llamativo para los niños. En este taller los niños tenían que representar la cómica obra musical "El carnaval de los animales" compuesta por Camille Saint-Saëns.
Primero hicimos una manualidad de una cinta de los animales para la cabeza, después practicamos el baile de nuestro animal y luego bailamos todos juntos la danza.

The carnival of the animals comprises the following animals: the march of the lion / hens / donkeys / tortoises / the elephant / kangaroos / birds / pianists / fossils and the swan.

El carnaval de los animales comprende los siguientes animales: la marcha del león / gallinas / burros / tortugas / el elfante / canguros / pájaros / pianistas / fósiles y el cisne.
